Welcome and Dont Kiss the Dogs Goodnight lol

Well, I was very surprised today to see how many views my blog had in the last 7 days. I've had readers from 5 continents, Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Asia. Altogether from 14 different countries! I really didn't think this blog was that interesting but it's lovely to find people all over the world are enjoying reading it. Thank you all for your interest and please feel free to leave a comment if you want. I can't see exactly where or who you are just what country you are from.

I had a very bad night the other night as I woke at 4.30am coughing continually. I decided to get up at 5am (as it wasn't stopping) so I took my inhaler and a 2nd allergy pill, which stopped the cough after an hour or so. Then I remembered what was causing it - I kissed both dogs 🐕 on the head goodnight. Stupid thing to do as I'm now allergic to dogs which is usually controlled well by taking one allergy tablet a day. It took me ages getting back to sleep afterwards so I ended up having an hours nap later in the afternoon.

Daughter, son and granddaughter have all gone out for the afternoon today and OH is at a meeting for the U3A. For those who don't know the U3A is a club for retired people of any age. It has various groups who meet up for visiting gardens, theatre, board games, badminton, discussion about books, adventurer trips eg canoeing, quad bikes, archery etc, infact anything members want to do and someone is willing to convene. Anyway, I  took advantage of being all alone to have a nice long relaxing foam bath for an hour.

Weather here in South Devon is quite chilly today, 19C so it's back to socks and shoes and a warm cardigan for me. OH even wore a coat this morning when he took the dogs out to the fields. In South Gloucestershire, where our family all live, it's 24C - 26C which is about 100miles away due North from here. Actually, I think I'm more of an Autumn and Winter person really as I don't get on well in the hot weather.

Bye for now All the best

Sally x
