Ill again / visitors coming

 Travelling home to South Devon I started to feel really tired and fell asleep in the car. Sleeping in the day is very unusual for me and only ever happens when I'm ill or going to be ill, so I knew I'd caught something. This was probably at the school play as there were over 60 children taking part. Germ bags my OH calls them 😆

Next day I had a message from my daughter saying she was off work with a flu like virus, exactly the same as what I had. Not bad enough for flu and very severe for a cold with a temperature at the start. So, really I haven't done anything this week apart from rest, sleep and eat.

Valentines day was nice as OH bought me a bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates. He does this every year.

Daughter and Granddaughter are on their way here atm. They are arriving late tonight, which isn't a problem as I'm always up until the early hours anyway. I've made the beds up while OH was at his U3A committee meeting this afternoon and did some dusting. It was looking a bit dusty as I haven't done very much for the past week. OH did most of the vacuuming which was a good help. I've cleared the washing and the last load is in the machine now. The problem with having COPD is you get out of breath quickly doing housework and have to keep resting in-between jobs, making progress quite slow. Gone are the days when I could clean the whole house in an afternoon.

Pancake day tomorrow here in the UK so that's breakfast sorted, and we're having roast lamb for dinner.
