Politics and Sorting Clothes

We visited my friend yesterday, who we haven't seen since before the start of the school holidays. Now, nothing really surprises me anymore but she did this time! She's been a Labour supporter all her life but told me she doesn't like Kier Starmer, and thinks there's nobody in the Labour Party atm who is any better and could replace him. We both agreed on that, and agreed that Angela Rainer was probably set up (being told how to bypass paying the correct tax on her flat) and then reported to Inland Revenue, probably by someone who she'd upset in the past. Now, I don't normally talk politics to friends and family as it can cause arguments, but my friend brought up the subject this time. We had a lovely chat all afternoon, as OH dropped me off and took our dogs for a trip to the park. Really love visiting there and enjoying her homemade cake just out of the oven.

I've nearly finished sorting my winter clothes and packing away all the summer things now. I definately have far too many clothes atm. I've put 15 tops and blouses in the office ready to list on ebay this week, and managed to sell 3 so far. Plus I've listed a handbag I've never used and a pair of trainers that are new but too small. I should have returned them really but its too late now. Things have started slowly selling again since they reduced the buyer protection fee on low priced items, but it's not as busy as before. I still need to sort out shoes, coats and jackets next. I've bought a lovely jumper dress and a pair of warm cord trousers for the winter so I have everything ready for when it snows lol. Not much chance of that here in South Devon but you never know.... I'm aiming to fit all my clothes into one 6ft wide wardrobe, instead of packing away out of season clothing into suitcases, and putting them up the loft twice a year.

Bye for now All the best
