Theatre/Shopping

Last week we went to Torquay's Princess Theatre to see what we thought was a tribute band to the Kinks. It turned out to be the life story of how the band was formed and became famous. Lots of good music and interesting to watch.

I went to Teignmouth yesterday to buy some personal needs, like hair dye, deodorant, allergy pills etc. They have a Superdrug shop there which is always a good price and worth the drive. Well, atm it's worth the drive but with petrol prices soaring here it may be cheaper to buy in my corner shop soon. I'm allergic to my 2 spaniels so I take allergy pills each day to cope with it. Only dogs I've ever developed an allergy to and we've always had dogs. I dye my own hair at home, as I've found a brand that suits me and doesn't react to my sensitive skin.

Ebay has picked up this month and I've sold a few things including 2 items of china. The china has been listed for over a year now so hopefully more will sell soon. I bought a couple of jumpers with the money and a leylandii 🌳 tree. It's small but growing fast in the little pot OH planted it in. Today it's about 15 inches or 38 cms, and it was only 12 inches when it arrived last week!

My little Leylandii Tree

I've decided to try and spend an hour most days in my home office to try and clear it up. I managed to check the bank accounts and file most of the paperwork yesterday but there's so much more that needs doing, like listing items, shredding, sorting out a box for the charity shop etc plus the whole room needs a good clean. It actually looks very cluttered and neglected atm!

Bye for now All the best
